about

This is a live version of a song from my album "Better Out Than In"

lyrics

Lost inside this never-ending maze you call your soul
You once thought you were master here but now you've lost control
You said to me that destiny would guide you on the path
But now the sky is darkening as faces twist and laugh

You concentrate intently on what you intend to do
Though consciously it's plain to see you haven't got a clue
And as the day is ending you're backed up against the wall
The noise is getting louder as the bombs begin to fall

Open your eyes!

Like thin tracing paper i'm looking right through
The colours all glisten and fade
The fractals combine to make something sublime
A balance of light and of shade

The universe turns with an audible hum
As we soar through the sky in the night
Daily we strive, some of us thrive
But none of us knows wrong from right

Take my advice it's not very nice
But you never get nothing for free
If you're down on your luck and you can't make a buck
I'll make you a nice cup of tea

And it's time you owned up to the things that you need
Because entropy's bringing you down
And the colours all run in the rain and the sun
And the universe keeps spinning round
